Love.
The very word sparks feelings, and emotions.
What is love? Not the scientific jargon used to try to explain the emotion, but the real, true, inexplicable, Love.
We love our friends, and relatives. We love our pets. We love our spouse and children. But what sparks love?
What causes a feeling so deep it can make people crazy, and carefree? What is it that makes us love our children one way, and our relatives a different way? Is it the intimacy of growing a life inside your own body?
What causes us to love a person so deeply that it feels like we’ve known them for eternity? Why does love fade for some and grow deeper for others?
Do people value love anymore? Or are we too caught up in the world that we forget the basic command to love one another.
Love is the greatest of all commandments. Yes it takes work sometimes to express love, but once it starts it is usually difficult to stop.
Hurt, broken trust, ignoring the desires of the one you love can break the bind of love. And just like trust, love needs to be rebuilt.
True love needs to be nourished in order to grow. We must water the seeds of love in all aspects of life. Speak love. Act in love. Share love. Cherish love and watch it grow. God is love.
